*Short Term Insurance: Commercial Lines (category 1.6)

Santam, Old Mutual Insure, Hollard & Bryte

Hout Bay Insurance Brokers does not own more than 10 % of issued shares directly or indirectly in any Life Assurer or Financial Services Provider.

Hout Bay Insurance Brokers is not an associated company of any life assurer or Financial Services Provider.

Hout Bay Insurance Brokers has not earned more than 30 % of my total commission from any single Financial Services Provider within the previous 12 months.

Hout Bay Insurance Brokers earns its income from commission & fees that the Product Supplier pays over to us upon the sale of their products as purchased by my clients.

Hout Bay Insurance Brokers has Professional Indemnity Insurance cover of R 10 000 000

Hout Bay Insurance Brokers has implemented a Conflicts of Interest Management policy which is available at our office for your perusal upon request.

Should a material conflict of interest as intended in the business’ Conflicts of Interest Management policy arise, this will be disclosed to you, our client at the earliest opportunity.

From time to time Hout Bay Insurance Brokers and / its Representatives may receive some form of immaterial indirect consideration from Product Suppliers or the like. A Gift register is available at our office for your perusal upon request.

As a client, should you feel that your rights have been prejudiced, or that you have been aggrieved in any way, you have the right to lodge a complaint. A copy of the Hout Bay Insurance Brokers internal complaints resolution procedure is available at our office upon request.

We will not disclose any confidential information acquired or obtained from you, our client unless you’ve provided us with your written consent beforehand OR disclosure of the information is required in the public interest, or under any Law.

Please be aware that Hout Bay Insurance Brokers may never request or induce you, our client in any manner to waive any right or benefit conferred on you by, or in terms of, any provision of the General Code of Conduct for Authorized Financial

Service Providers and Representatives. Similarly Hout Bay Insurance Brokers cannot recognize, accept or act on any such waiver by you, our client and any such waiver is deemed to be null and void.
